Meta Information

תוכן זה אינו זמין עדיין בשפה שלך.

The Meta Information element changes the details of the running process, of its business process, or of one of its transactions: the name, the tags, and how the forms are shown in Client forms. Use it, for example, to rename a process when the client’s name is known, so it’s easy to find, or to group a client’s forms into one business case in Client forms.

To add it, drag Meta Information from the palette. Its settings are on three tabs:

  • General: the ID and the Name shown on the canvas (default: “MetaInformation”).
  • Inputs: the data you want to use in the values. See Inputs and data.
  • Meta: what to change.

Select the Object to change first. The other settings depend on it.

Object What changes
BPMN Process (the default) The process itself: its name and tags. In a sub process, the main process is changed.
Business Process The business process (business case) the process belongs to: its name, its tags and whether it’s shown in Client forms. In Client forms, the transactions of a business process are grouped under its name.
Transaction The transaction of a Form / Session in the process: its tags and whether it’s still shown in Client forms after it’s submitted.
Setting What to enter
Process Name The new name. Leave it blank to keep the current name. Not shown for Transaction.
Session Node Shown for Transaction. The Form / Session whose transaction to change. Select it from the list of the workflow’s forms, or turn on the switch to use a Reference to an input. Required.
Client Forms Visibility Shown for Business Process and Transaction. Visible or Invisible in Client forms. Undefined (the default) leaves it as it is.
Tags Click + Add Tag for each tag. Enter a Tag value, or turn on the switch to use a Reference to an input or a process value. Each tag needs a value or a reference.

The tags are added to the existing tags. Tags that are already there are not repeated, and tags with an empty value are skipped.

In Process Name and in tag values, you can add the value of an input by writing its ID in double braces, for example Loan {{parameter1}}.
